Description
Disillusioned with what he saw in his early years in China, Hudson Taylor's increasing burden was for the vast unreached inner provinces. So, in 1865, the China inland Mission was born. The following year he visited Ireland. He spoke to students in Cork and Belfast. Within in months Susan Barnes from Limerick was on her way to China. By the end of the 19th century 34had joined from Ireland, north and south. More were to follow, first to China, and then, when it closed to missionaries in 1950, to other parts of Asia through the Overseas Missionary Fellowship of the China Inland Mission ( not OMF International). This booklet tells some of there stories.
